Gas based Suppression system

Gas based Suppression system

Gas Fire Suppression Systems are used to extinguish electrical fires by releasing a concentration of gas within a particular room. Most commonly found in server rooms, computer suites and communication rooms a Gas Suppression system is responsible for protecting the integral functions of your business. Gas-based fire suppression systems use chemical agents and inert gases. They are clean, safe, and environmentally friendly. They are effective at putting out Class A, B, and C fires at the beginning stage before they can grow.

Neelansh  is the system engineering company authorized to supply, install, commission the “Clean Agent” gas based fire suppression flooding with gases like NAF SIII, NAF S125, HFC 227ea, FE-13, FM 200, IG -01 200 & 300 bar, IG – 55 200 & 300 bar, IG – 100 200 & 300 bar , IG – 541 200 & 300 bar.

What we offer

We are highly experienced in designing cost effective Fire suppression system for the most challenging environments and for protection of high value assets. Our designs are compliant with NFPA 2001, ISO and Bureau of Indian Standards.

We offer to our customers – system integrators solutions based on extinguishing Clean Agents  & from their Filling station Approved by the CCOE (Chief Controller Of Explosives).

The knowledge gained over a period of time with trainings in India abroad on these systems has made the company technically sound to offer the most optimal designs and appropriate solutions.

Few are the major projects where the gas suppression has been done by us:

  • Parliament House, New Delhi
  • Teen Murti Bhawan, New Delhi
  • Hindan AirForce Station, Ghaziabad, UP
  • Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan, New Dlehi
  • IDBI Bank, Mumbai
  • HPCL, Bahadurgarh
  • RRB Energy Wind Power Plant, Chennai

And many more…..

Clean Agent

NFPA 2001 has defined the term “clean agent” as an electrically non-conductive, volatile, or gaseous fire extinguishing agent that does not leave a residue upon evaporation. A clean agent fire suppression system will take either an inert gas or a chemical that is stored in a container and discharge it, when necessary, to extinguish a fire in its incipient stage.
There are many benefits to using a clean agent fire suppression system. These systems are fast, effective, safe, clean, and eco-friendly. The clean agent systems are three dimensional as well. Most systems can reach extinguishing concentration levels in just 10 seconds or less. Clean agents are designed to suppress the fire while it’s still in its incipient stage, meaning it will suppress the fire before it grows and enters into the heat/flame stage. The clean agents that are dispersed in a fire suppression system are safe to use in areas populated by humans, and are non-ozone reducing with a short or no atmospheric lifetime. There is no costly clean-up once the clean agents have been discharged, because they are fast vaporizing gases that do not leave a residue after they dissipate.

Novec-1230

Gas based Suppression system

Novec fire suppression systems have emerged as one of the primary gaseous fire suppression replacements. A Fluorinated Ketone, Novec 1230 was invented by the 3M™ Company specifically as a “clean” replacement for Halon 1301. Stored as a liquid and discharged as a gas, Novec 1230 is promoted for its rapid-fire suppression properties and quick evaporation, with both serving to help protect valuables in cases of fire and their subsequent control. 3M™ says the substance is the “cleanest, most environment-friendly chemical agent in existence.” The compound is non-toxic, has no ozone depleting components, minimal global warming properties, and a small, five-day atmospheric lifetime.

FM200/HFC227ea

FM-200 emerged as the first primary replacement for Halon, based on both its effectiveness and its Ozone-friendly and non-toxic properties. FM-200 is stored as a liquid and dispersed as a vaporized gas, and works by absorbing heat and snuffing flames via a combination of chemical and physical reactions. cost effective in enclosed spaces, FM-200 does not displace oxygen and can be safely discharged into occupied areas. FM-200™ systems extinguishes fires in less than 10 seconds.
FM-200™ fire suppressant is widely accepted in protection of critical infrastructures like Data Centres, Metro Rail, Control Rooms, Archives and many more critical installations.

CO2

Protecting property involves more than suppressing fire. Conventional fire suppression methods can cause collateral damage to valuable assets. The High-Pressure Carbon Dioxide System suppresses fire without leaving behind any residue after discharge, avoiding damage to sensitive equipment. No need for agent cleanup means less downtime after an incident.
While carbon dioxide is most effective against Class B flammable liquid fires, it is also the only gaseous agent capable of deep-seated Class A hazard protection. When properly designed, the carbon dioxide system will suppress fire in Class A, B and C hazards by displacing the air containing oxygen that supports combustion. Thus, in certain applications, it is mandatory that additional equipment be provided as an added safeguard.
